Default I'm still waiting for the "Wave"!!!

Well, we've had our '06 NBC now for one week. So far I've seen Beetles go by and weren't even looking in our direction!!
I'm still waiting to get and wave and give a wave back. We're going out for a ride a little later today. Maybe it will happen then. I can't wait for it to happen!! I feel like a little kid in a candy store, but this is the most fun I've had in any car!! This is also a great forum. I'll post later to let you know if we got the "wave" today. Thanks!!!

Sadly, you will find that some owners of NBs just consider them another "car" and don't have the love that most of us here experience. The fun is in finding those "special" folks out there. Keep flashing the lights and waving every chance you get. You will get a wave soon.

It's bound to happen. I once had a little old lady who rolled down her window and started a conversation at a light lol

She was so happy to talk to me (and my car even) She wished Lucy well as I turned left!

Well, it finally happened -- my first wave today!! We were just taking a little cruise through a quaint town and a woman in a black NBC gave us a cool wave and I gave one in return. It was a neat feeling. Then on the way home, a young girl was in her reflex silver NBC and I waved to her. I don't think she noticed for the first few seconds, then all of a sudden she beeped two or three times!! That was kind of cool, too. There's just something special about the wave. I hope to have many more to come. Thanks for reading. Happy motoring!!

id love to be that person that rolls down their window at a light, but alas! crank windows!

However I do flash the casual and cool peace sign at every single bug I pass. I love getting a response but sometimes people dont see me. Had an awesome lady in a blue NBC give me a HUGE wave just the other day. Keep trying Glad you got some waves today though!

Talking

In the city of tallahassee,95% of the Nbs have an FSU parking sticker stuck on their windshield meaning...collage.

So yes,to most, its just another beater,.

However,as recent as today, this babe in a newer black Nb was across from me waiting for the green light at an intersection,we both had the front row. Before I knew, she was totally checkin' me out, that's when she broke out he camera and took pictures of my beetle !!!

When the light turned green,we passed each other with the windows down and big smiles on our faces

I wanted to turn around, but I thought it woulda been weird.

We were totally the same age though

Just keep waving! I finally got a wave from a beautiful little Silver NB. It made my day. Usually they give me the what the..? look, but this girl waved back. It takes a lot of waves, but it'll be worth it!
