Thumbs up Check Your Spare Tire......

I wasn't really sure which forum to post this in....

I was preparing to wash "Key Lime" tonite and for some reason I pulled up the cover to check the spare tire (can't remember when the last time was that I did that). Poked it with my finger and it felt low. Pulled it out and it was flat. Wouldn't have been much good on the side of the road somewhere...
Filled it up and hopefully it will be good for another 11 years.

So, especially with the start of the summer travel season coming up, I suggest that everyone take the time to familiarize themselves with their tool kits and check the air pressure in your spare tire.

Wow,your absolutely correct ,spares are only as good as your maintenance on them.

I had a flat last year,I had to rock the steelie for a while .
I love using my oe spare jack rather than any floor jack, the undersides are so fragile!!

I've been checking mine
