I got a wave yesterday!!!!

I FINALLY got a wave yesterday from another NB driver! It was at the intersection by my house, she was in a gecko green convertible with the top up, I was heading the opposite direction. She looked over and smiled and WAVED! I was so excited, I felt giddy and giggly the entire drive down to Phoenix!!! Yippie!!!!

You all should not feel bad when you don't get a wave. I live in an area of California, Hollywood/LA where there is supposedly a huge amount of NB owners and I see tons everyday. They just ignore me ALL THE TIME! VIntage Veedub owners don't even wave when they seem me in my 1965 Squareback. But, I will say this, people do stop and talk to me all the time when they see me parked in my neighborhood. Folks do seem to have nice comments to make about how I take care of my car and how nice they both look, AND, the most important thing of all, ask for my business card!

I saw a ton of bugs out today, but traffic was terrible, so I wasn't able to wave or see if the others waved. Maybe when I'm not on such busy roads... (or all the crazies stay home...lol)

Me and my girls were driving on friday, and spotted a red beetle. I raced to get up to it and she was so excited to see us! She was waving at us!!! The other bug driver was just as crazy as I was. In fact, she stayed behind me, but had to try real hard to keep up with me. It was the BEST feeling ever!!!!!

I got a smile from a lady driving a convertible when we were coming back from the mountains.. It is kinda hard to wave when going around curves but the smile was nice but nothing for us other then that.. I do get smiles while I am driving or sitting from people walking around us..
