Unhappy Deep Experience with sad end.

I had a 2003 Yellow New-Beetle from December 2003 until September 20, 2010.

While I was driving my new beetle from work to my family's home, the road was totally oiled cause of a broken truck on the way, I slipped with my lovely beetle out of the road and passed through a wall.

In Turkey, the price of 2nd hand about 10.000€s. The total price of my car's broken parts were about 22.000€s (exp. paint & labor cost) so my insurance told me "Your car is totalled".

I passed through a wall with 80km/s and took down the wall. All airbags were opened and after I checked the interior, I understood that New Beetle is 100% safe and I recommend New Beetle to everybody.

Best Regards
Emre

I wouldn't call this a sad end. Your beetle sacrificed itself to save you. That is a good thing in my book.

I hope you get another beetle soon.

You hit a wall at 80Km and was able to walk away. I call that a huge win. Sucks the car is totalled but awesome you are safe. FInd another NB with your insurance money. Definately worth it.
