Default After 2 months my bug is back.

Well I have been gone for a while because my Bug was seriously abandoned. Not because I did not like it, but because traffic is horrible, I could not stand to take it to my office (its in a Mall-as I have an Apple service center and store) and have the bug beaten to death by stupid people and its SUV car doors (the dings they make want me to bring back the Death penalty!!).
So I kept it stowed for months at my moms house, in the mean time I bought a Golf Sportwagen loaded with xenon, pano roof, navi leather etc and I enjoy it a lot, but this christmas I thought about it and sent my neglected bug to the shop for a good overhaul , cleaning and repaint, because the paint looked like 50 years old. So I also Bought a new ceiling for the insides (it was spotty and really dirty), and got tons of new parts ( spanking new logos (Euro ones) and the original grilles) so They gave me back the Bug this Friday I AM SOO HAPPY !!!! Ill be on vacation next week in Lake Tahoe but when I return Ill post some more pics about the rebuild!!!

Here is a teaser:

A pic of my other VW... I love this Wagon, totally different from the BUG but Great also...

That's a beautiful Beetle!

Can you tell me where you got the "hood spoiler"? I'm referring to the trim piece at the trailing edge of the hood that covers the wiper blades.

Thanks!

One place to get the cowl is here...

ABD Racingwerks, Inc.: Bernt Hood Cowl for Beetle

It's usually called a wiper cowl, but there is another site that calls it a "Jet Blade".

My Hood spoiler is different from the Bernt, I bought it in L.A. like 5 years ago, I dont know if they make it still.

Some people Hate it, but I like it because it hides the wipers.
Here is another pic (old one) for the spoiler:
