Good News!!!

So today, I finally found the beetle of my dreams!!! I will be able to pick him up Monday!! I already named him Lextric or Lex for short because he is electric blue!!! He is a 2001, Vortex Blue, Black interior!!! I will post pictures soon!!!

BTW, ToD is a weekend (Fri-Sun) event. Even so, the actual running of the Dragon is on Saturday. So if you can't make it for the entire weekend, at least stop by Saturday to tame the Dragon with us.

You know you have to eventually have one of these cars when that statement only makes you want to scroll down faster to see the actual photo...

and then you look at it and can't force the grin from your face, because to be standing behind the camera just then in that parking lot- that would be absolute awesomness.

So I went to put up Lex yesterday and his check engine light comes on!!! The dealer couldn't figure out why! Since dealer aren't allowed to sell cars with check engine lights on in NC I didn't get to take him home!!! I am beyond sad right now!!

But I guess this means that they'll have to make things right with your beetle before you can take it home- that can't be a bad thing.
