Default ways to spell bug

You have to be careful with bug, because VW has trademarks on all types of variances of the word. ie - VDUB, BUG, BUGN, VW, BEETLE, etc.

you can get some ideas from Custom License Plates.

My '67 bug had "VW000M" on the plate. I think the new one is going to get "EGGLTNA".

If I am not mistaken, (and I am NOT an expert in copyright law) the only time having VW in the plate would be an issue would be if your car was being used for profit- say for example in a movie, or maybe on a fleet car used by a business with their branding. I can tell you for sure a lot of people, myself included, have done it on personalized plates. The DMV OK's them and VW never came after me for having one.

That's funny! My mom suggested I get LNZBUG because they always shorten my name Lindsey to Lin-z. . I went with a form of ladybug, just don't know which one yet. I sent off for mine 3 weeks ago. I can't wait to see what I get. Anybody in Missouri know how long it usually takes to get them after you apply?

In California we can get symbols on our plates, a heart, a star, etc. I ordered my plate about 4 weeks ago, supposed to take 8-12 weeks to get. It says GNU(heart)BUG. New love bug...heehee.
