I did it! After three years of fantasizing of owning an NB convertible, I bought one yesterday!!! She's a 2007 Harvest Moon with black top & she's very purdy but... I want to make her my very own. Your input would be much appreciated & any links you might have would be cool too. Thanks guys & I'll eagerly await your ideas... by the way, her name is Charlotte.

Those are great ideas & I appreciate the feedback but I am totally freaked out by spiders of any type. I hadn't even thought of Charlotte being from the book - which I enjoyed reading to my children many times. I actually have a ladybug tattoo and am leaning in that direction a bit more. Yes, she will most certainly have her own plates - our cars always do, just not certain about hers yet but have some possibilities floating around in my head,

Wondering if I should add some graphics or a custom paint to her? Window tint? New wheels, etc. Your input is encouraged & appreciated!!!

Thanks Evan, I totally appreciate your offer. it may be the weekend before I can get some decent shots of her but when I do, I'll definitely be posting them here. I did order some new mats for her & some ladybug stickers. My husband does engraving on glass too & said he'd scroll whatever I wanted on her - I just have to be certain because once it's in the glass, there's no changing my mind

Congrats!!!! on getting your Beetle. You will love it. I am on my third one which is a 2010 convertible. I have switched out my wheels and I am in the process of adding fog lights.
I added the red blinking security light to my passenger door as they did away with it in the 2010 model. Your 2007 should still have the light where the lock button would be on the top of each door.

I also added a European license plate to the front and a country of origin decal to the back, a letter D for Germany. I like the total European look, Thats my thing, Just some ideas for ya.

Hi there....Harvest Moon was my second favorite color when I was looking for my beetle convertible. I think it really looks nice. I have a baby blue convertible and I'm loving it. I've only had mine a week now. I too am looking to make her mine! Have you seen the eyelashes you can put on them? A bit much for me but they are cute. They also have daisy rims for your tires which are adorable and I've seen those taillight covers that are flowers! Have fun
