I'm assumming Beacon is a small place??? I live in a pretty large city and see the same Bugs sometimes daily or every other...be careful, of course, but I bet they are just being friendly.

Well, today I put a bright orange heart-shaped paper note on a sweet '58 Chevy, like the one from American Graffiti.

I made those paper valentines to leave on NB's yesterday, and had some blank ones. Good thing. That car really deserved it!

It said:

Beautiful!
Beautiful!
Beautiful!
I Love Your Chevy!
Signed, an Admirer.

The bad news: None put on NB's yesterday. I didn't come across any!

Beacon is not that small. Technically it's a city, but both times the notes was when I was NOT in Beacon, nearby towns. Either way, I do see several NB's (especially b/c the dealership is nearby, although it was rated HORRIBLY...) it's rare I see the same ones.

I admit though, Twiddlebug is noticeable. She has custom "TWIDDLE" plates and a family of actual twiddlebugs on the dash and rear trunk flap thingy. (sorry I don't know the term, the car is still new to me! And I plan on getting a spoiler soon....)

Oh well. I'll try not to get my Brooklyn up over the admireres anymore. At least it didn't get up my Brooklyn AND my Irish!

Erin you seem nice. I gotta see me some Twiddle bugs. Gonna have to go look for your pics. I used to like them bugs when i was a wee lad watching Sesame Street in the 70s (and possibly 80s as i'm a huge Muppet fan). I like their little midget sounding voices.

Hmm...just got a thought for the seinfeld thread.

The back shelf is just called "the shelf" by me

I don't know the technical name for it, either.
