I just can't bring myself to ride around with flowers in mine so it is empty. I thought about filling the hole and repainting it but I haven't yet.

My dealer put a plush daisy in it for me. Sometimes I put real flowers in it.

Nothing but clear airspace in ours! Had me imagining what could go in there.....various flowers of sweet fragrances.....a place to burn incense to provide that marijuana den atmosphere.....or as a shot glass with my favorite beverage named Johnnie, Jim, or Jack in it. Fake flowers from Michaels and a VW plush daisy were the only real choices that were made.

My vase was also empty when we bought our bug. Now I just use it to hold a cigarette or two.

Cool The Emperor's Bud Vase

When I test-drove Ladybug she very definitely had a bud vase. Hovever, after the detailing the bud vase was nowhere to be seen. The Kia dealer *shudders* I "rescued" her from tried to convince me there never was a bud vase in her in the first place, and my dad was no help because as he stated "he is a man and does not notice things such as flover vases." lol
I knew I wasn't having halucinations (even though I was high on NB joy) but I decided not to argue with those idiots (Kia dealers) in case people watching weren't able to tell the difference between us...
I got my own vase on eBay promptly and moved on to the conundrum of what to put in it. It was solved when I re-tightened my CD changer mount and found a cute bunch of fake red carnations that the previous owner left. I went with those and only added a little air-freshner to the bunch, that looks like a ball made out of tiny paper red rosebuds. Fresh red roses were great, but would only last a couple of days.
Moderators, please excuse the use of foul language: i.e. "Kia dealer" in this post

When I bought my '03 hardtop the dealership put a fake daisy in it but it looked like someone had sat on it for a long time. (I really did appreciate it though) The '05 and the '06 didn't have anything in the vase but I have a nice vase I got from TVA which has some cute butterflies in it. (I love real flowers but of course they die right away due to heat or cold so I gave up on that.)

Cool

I got rid of the silk flower that my wife jammed in there. I got a wine cork, drilled a 1/4" hole through it lengthwise, shoved a colored pencil barrel through it and mounted my favorite antennae ball atop it. MUCH better...

Mine didn't come with a blumenvasen, so I procured a Turbo S unit, good for at least an extra 5 horsepower!

I think Amy keeps some "Bud" in her bud vase!

Mine came with a bunch of little white silk daisies. I thought that was nice. I wasn't really expecting anything. I still might order a plush daisy some day.

Mine came with nothing in it.
I didn't know what the hell it was my mother told me she thought flowers went in it, i sat there and laughed at her, then when i got back to the dealership before i bought it,i asked the dealer what it was for and he said it was a flower vase...So needless to say my mother got the last laugh.
I have since taken it out cause i'm a dude and ya flowers in my car arent gonna happen. It is sitting in my glovebox now. I think im gonna sell it on ebay

Talking

Yeah, you have to listen to your mother.
You won't get much money for it on eBay - they go for $9.99 at most. There are cool mods you can do with it, like lighting it. And it doesn't have to be flowers in it. Just look at what other people have in them. Only imagination is the limit!
Plus, a flower vase in your car is no reason to feel insecure in your masculinity

Hey! Don't Bogart that vase my friend...
Seriously, I drilled out a wine cork, slammed a black barreled pencil in it, and topped it with a variety of funky antennae balls, toppers, flags, or whatever. What would you ever do with that hole that the vase goes into. Check out the How-to's on how to light your vase if nothing else, but don't chuck it...

Uh...do I HAVE to put in a flower?
Can I put cigarrettes instead(even if I don't smoke)?

What do "real" men put in there?
