people put pencils, figures, someone has covered the hole for the bud vase, flowers, people use it to hold their sun glasses, theyve used the hole to support other things.

theres a lot to do with a budvase but "real" men, they put flowers

Fake dafodills when my mom had it, but lately that last thing that i had in my vase was a tire pressure guage. kinda odd huhh?

My bug didn't come with a bud vase! I didn't know they were supposed to come with one until my friend mentioned it. I was like . I know, I know! That's so bad!

well Mine had some ink in the bottom I think the previous owner had a leaky pen problem. I will be cleaning it out soon enough though.

My yellow Tdi came with a white gerbera flower in it, and it still sits there. Its a happy flower for a happy car!

Mine came with an ugly artificial yellow rose. I got to give the salesguy credit though. He said he ran around his house all morning telling his wife that he had someone coming to pick up a yellow Beetle and he *needed* a yellow flower to go in the vase. That rose was the best she could do.

My first stop in Kittee was to Garden Ridge, where I picked up a perfect yellow Gebera daisy. Now it's joined by a pen w/ a yellow bug topper.

Nothing was in my vase but my salesman gave me a coffee tumbler which I lost! But Gus(silver04)got me a new blue VW one! After I bought Daisy I put real flowers in the vase - bad idea because they got too warm quickly - the petals became limp and the pollen?(messy yellow stuff in the middle of the flower)gave my radio and air vents a nice dusting! Then I bought a bunch of fake white daisies and a lot of the flowers broke off recently so I changed to an orange Gerbera daisy. And I've always had a USA flag too.

Sophie ('00 batik GLX) came with a ball of foil in the bottom (who knows why), but since I knew I was getting her way beforehand I brought a pink daisy with me for the ride home.

The new(er) one came with a really faded purple daisy (UGLY). When I was test driving her for the weekend I replaced it with the ones that were in Sophie.

beetle bug didn't have the vase when i got the car in april. i didn't know it was supposed to have a vase until the hubby mentioned to find out how much one cost from the vw drivergear website and to order one. never did order one, but decided to stick a white bear holding a rose with a heart saying "i love you" from hubby, which is in plastic and fits perfect in the space where the missing bud vase belongs.

We got our S from a Pontiac dealership,and our vase was empty too. So, since we're not flower people, we stick a pen in there.
