There was a daisy-like flower in the bud vase when I picked Miss Ruby up from the dealer - the salesman made a point of showing me how to 'spin' the flower.

Thread Revival Alert!

When I got the 2003, used, this year, there was nothing, again, in the vase. *But* I was amazed that there was still a Turbo S vase. I absolutely expected it to be gone.

My vase has the same two black silk roses, and black spider-on-a-stick, that my 2002 had.

This is the 2002.

Cool thread!

I was the second car my dealer sold, and the first bug...so before I came in to pick up Lady Marmalade, he bought some pretty orange fake flowers for her bud vase.

I had them in until a few weeks ago when I wire wrapped some orange glittery leaves.

Mine came with nothing in it, but I bought this to put in it....it's so big, I had to stuff it in there...I am already tired of it and want something else.

BeBe didn't come with anything in her vase. So I bought her a plush VW daisy. I liked it so much I bought a spare one in case hers gets stolen or ends up getting dirty. Yeah I am a weirdo when it comes to the little things.

Ringo came with nothing and my boyfriend was first to point out that he had one. I was more interested in the cup holders (i don't know its this weird thing i have for cupholders, ever since Milhouse was so excited about them "Cup Holders! We gotta get a cup!") right now he has one tootsie pop (chocolate
).

When I test drove UBugNMe there wasn't anything in the vase, but as I was sitting with the finance guy and sales manager, beating him up over price and financing....lol.... My salesman was cleaning her up and put a couple real carnations in the vase. She now has fake flowers. A cream rose and yellow flowers, not sure what they are. Need to get her some new ones, these are getting pretty ratty.

Having grown up in Europe, I can tell you with a fair degree of certainty that German engineers can't even imagine such a thing as an 80oz. soft-drink.
Not for one person. Not in one cup holder. I think it's an exclusively American thing.
Even here in Canada they are extremely rare. The cup holders in my '98 hold a Tim Horton's extra large (biggest size) coffee with no problem.
You guys must have super-sized bladders

Ok, to the man-vase dillema...I too need a better manyly vase idea. I did light my vase up w/ a blue LED and it looks great. Then my mom and I were in the store, and since it is close to halloween, we found this skull drinking straw, and I trimed the top part off, and it just has skulls sticking up...pretty cool. Now that halloween is ending quickly, what does anyone suggest?!?!

My vase was empty - but, like others, I was pleased that the Turbo S vase was still there. Since my wedding was only weeks before I got Lady, I cut some fake flowers off of the bouquet that hung from the arch that we said our vows under. I'm going for sentimental value for now. Thinking of red roses (fake but decent, real ones are just too expensive and messy - plus I forget to water the plants in my house!).

Mine didn't come with anything in the vase but the dealer gave me this really cool coffee cup. You press a button and the top comes open to drink.

Now, I have flowers and a scarecrow for fall.

When I got my S it came with a little red poppy looking flower in the vase.
As posted before,I was shocked to see it still had it's flower vase.
The first week I had my Beetle my girlfriend was putting red roses in from her garden in there for me they did't last long. Now it holds a pen,I wanna put something neat in there one of these dayd

There wasn't anything in mine which surprised me as it was on the showroom floor. I got the car just a couple of weeks before July 4th, so I went to the store and bought a bouquet of silk red, white, and blue carnations (my baby is Salsa Red). I cut it down to just one of each color because more was too overpowering, but I love my patriotic flowers!

Then, nothing.

Now, a pen.

Future, I'm thinking a miniature tibetan monk skull.

Here is a link to a full sized one. http://www.bryantmcgill.com/books/~M...ffering_Vessel
