What was in your vase when you bought your bug?

Mine was empty too. It took almost a year for me to put anything in there. I know I wanted purple flower, but couldn't quite find one (plus wasn't searching hi and lo for one. It's funny that EVERYONE who drove in my car asked, "so where's the flower?", even my dad who does not care about such trivial things. I guess it's just such a trademark for New Beetles. Finally decided on a practical bunch from el dolar store.

my first beetle came with nothing... not even a vase. but my second beetle came with a fake, tacky ass sunflower. it now hold a pink tulip and a super mario lollipop

My bud vase was empty, but it did have one of those nice bud vases, the metal one, so I got a clear plastic one so I would have one in case I got tired of the after market one. Also, The after market, one doesn't lock into place like the plastic on, but my Voyager ship won't work in the plastic one either.

NOTHING! I was so excited to get my baby (and had been at the dealership so long, and the lone F&I guy was so rushed because someone else was waiting behind me) that when was finally leaving, I didn't think about the fact that I had an empty vase. Oh well... at least I had the vase!

Right now I have a glass swizzle stick in there, the top of which is a blue cockatoo with yellow head feathers & tail (all glass). The search is on for something non-flowery to reside in said vase.

I got two vase one was in Laycee then the sales guy gave me another one and before i drove off he gave me two flowers one yellow and one orange counldn't make up my mine which flower i wanted

I love the homemade beads!! Love them!
I was lucky - I picked up Dolly complete with bud vase, and a very nice red rose, with a mini ladybug on one of the petals. The best surprise was my best friend buying me two luscious fake gerbera - one red, one white, to compliment Dolly's color scheme. I did feel sad removing the rose, but I've put it safely away so that I can honor the previous owner. Boy, did she look after and love that bug, so I would feel bad throwing it away....keeping the love.

Butterkup had a couple little flesh-colored roses.. i keep those in my glove box because they are sentimental to us.

There wasn't anything in mine either. The car had only been unwrapped for a week before I snatched it up, so maybe they didn't have time. Though I don't think the sales guy was the type to go out and fetch some fake flowers...lol. He just wanted to chat about his motorcycles to my fiance.

Mine had a pen, and a rolled business card. I still keep a pen in there, and sometimes a stogie for smokin later.

When I bought my 2010 beetle this bud vase was missing. Then, on day 2 I found it in the trunk.

I had this white cloth VW flower in my old 2004 convertible.
When I bought my 2010 convertible the sales guy gave me this pink VW flower because he could tell I love pink…pink purse & outfit.

Right now I have 7 small LEMONS in the flower vase.
Who hoo…now I Just need some vodka and sugar to make a “lemon drop” drink.

When I had my 2000 beetle, the VW dealer would always put a FRESH carnation in it when it was done with the dealer work…very sweet I thought.
