When Hubby starts to point out Beetles, you are definitely having good Beetle days. The love for the bug is contagious.

I pray that you feel well soon

I see beetles ALL OVER the place around here its great, they always make me smile

But, today I was driving through a parking lot and these 2 people were walkin in the middle so I was slow behind them with my music blaring and as they move to the side they turn around and they both laugh as the guy slugs the girl and she slugs back sayin "Slug Bug!!" it was awesome, made me laugh

I had a good beetle day at the DMV of all places. I took Monty in to get his temp tags, and it was the day after their five day Thanksgiving break. The place was packed. The 'gatekeeper' looked harried until she saw me smiling..."Is that you in the cute little silver bug?" Not bad, since Monty isn't in the best of shape, with a dented door and a squished rocker panel.

I got my forms pretty darned fast and she seemed happy for a few minutes.

I went to Wendy's to grab a side salad for lunch. While I was at the window waiting, there was a couple of guys walking up and down the parking lot. I think they might have been the property management- it seemed as if they were surveying the property. Anyhoo, I had the windows down, and all fo a sudden one of the dudes yells over to me, "You really have a nice bug- I really like it". The other dude concured, smiled and nodded his head.

A good beetle day once again

Your experience with that lady embodies the point why some beetle owners 'don't get it'. The don't feel the vibe like most of us do... it's just a car to them. Sure they might know the history of the car, and maybe had one before, but for the most part, it's just a car and not an icon. And the kicker of it all was she had no enthusiasm to even join the org. I mean that's her prerogative, but you think she'd have at least a little excitement over the fact that the org exists.

Some just don't get it.

Glad you had a good beetle day anyway

Happy friday everyone, ive had a wonderful beetle week.Started off with a detail and wash, inside n' out, underside, just about every nook, went to the monthly CCDubs meet, hung out ALL night, even Porsche of Tally dropped by to show off their 100% electic conversion on an old boxter(right?),and lots of other cool stuff.Looked at Nbs at the local used car lots for the heck of it,just another easy going week in the city of Tallahassee(Best Buy insisted i stop asking to buy their Geek Squad Nb every other day, wasnt gonna happen, aww man.)...And random shots

Awesome pics! That just makes me more impatient for the Southern Worthersee to get here

I got a pleasant surprise yesterday. When I left the coffee shop here, there was a cyber green NB and an older model Jetta parked on either side of my NB! I'm sure everyone in the parking lot was wondering what I was squealing about

It was 60 according to my thermometers, 52 according to the Weather Bureau, so I drug out my hoses and gave Rita a nice wash. Gives me hope for spring to have a clean car in my garage again. These 2 weeks of highs around 20 were getting to me.

today was a GREAT beetle day!!

took butterkup to get an oil change & her fluids checked.. oil change was free since my dealership has a rewards system and i had enough points for the oil change & still have left over points! her fluids were good, nothing was needed.

i'm driving with my little sister to go shopping and i see a fellow double yellow beetle coming towards us, i start waving & the lady is waving too! so happy

then.. we get to the mall and there are just like 5 beetles in the one section with no other cars next to them so it was hard to decide which beetle to park with, but i chose a blue one since it was the spot with the most room! haha

Hey good for you! I hope to have a day like that someday...
But today was pretty close tho - a lady at work today stopped me in the hall and said she just LOVED my red Volkswagen. And it was 78 degrees this afternoon and crystal clear sky. It was a GREAT convertible day! So of course I drove home with the top down. And you could just see the envy in the other drivers.

Although my day started rough due to nearly flooding my beetle during the storm we've been having,I changed out the crappy bosch platinum (small electrode) for a set of 3 prong, huge electrode NGKs in my garage.I took off work for the rest of the day

Runs like new,much smoother!!!

Today was my first day driving my NBC, (Just got her Thursday night!) and I got a "You've got a spiffy little car, there!" from a man when I parked somewhere this morning. I was so excited!

Then, at another place, I had parked somewhat away from most of the other cars in a kind of random spot. When my mom and I came back out, a little SUV was right next to my bug. My mom said, "WHY did they park there??" and I just replied, "Because my buggie's so cuuuute!" LOL

Also, driving home just a few minutes ago, the jaw of a lady I passed going the other way dropped. She may have just been yawning or something, but she leaned over towards my buggie, so i'm pretty sure it was a jaw-drop.

I was at KRystal Burger the other day & the manager came out to ask me if that was my Beetle parked out front. She was wanting to know mileage and such because she was looking at maybe buying one at an auction. I love it when I run across someone who is interested because I can talk their ear off about how much I love my car. *grin*

on my way to class today i saw 2 yellow nb's in front of me in the beltline (section of interstate in the city where my college is) and all of a sudden, a 3'rd yellow bug comes into view right by them. if i had my camera with me and wasnt driving, i would have snapped a picture. one of them was also a double-yellow color concept 1.8t

I sparked up a short conversation with a fellow Nb owner at the local gas station, fillin' up side by side, she was digging the pinstripes,i was diggin' hers too

Also,Vw Audi g2g was a big happening tonight, broke out the VAG software, deflowered it quickly, shared among 6 or 7 (out of 14ish) including myself...A weekly check up we call it.

Pulled the ole' 1st-2nd-3rd-Drive(auto)on a sporty,euro-decked Jetta,due to traffic,i redlined a bit on take off,he had a look of,"what,a beetle,no way he can touch this"...And someone honked.lol....It was a "poodle in a Bulldog's world" situation...
