My New Bug
Hi, My name is Luna Faye. I just got a '99 Black Bug. (Yay!) My very first car was a tan '69 Bug, so when I was recently in the market for a new car and saw this one, I just HAD to get it. It's only got 58K miles.
Unfortunately, it didn't come with an owners manual. So I have a few basic questions. What are all the lights on the dash? Are the new bugs front or rear wheel drive? How many gallon tank does it have? How do I get the temp reading to F from C? Also is the temp reading for inside the car or outside? Thanks for any help.  Luna Faye

I know a few!
 All front wheel drive. Temp shows outside Fuel tank, about 13 gallons. Fun factor, 1,000% Others will chime in about the other ?'s, I just want to Welcome you the the Org!

Thanks for the info.
I thought of a couple more questions. What is that little hole on the dash just to the right of the steering wheel? Also how many A/C outlets does VW think people need??? (Even one in the trunk?) Luna Faye

Welcome to the ORG!! We LOVE pictures here!!! The little hole is probably where the bud vase goes, you can order new ones from the VW dealer or VW of America!!!!
