Hi all!

Swedish member signing on. This Friday I'm picking up my first Beetle from the dealers. Brand new Beetle Classic, reflex silver with all-black interior and I can't wait!!!

I discovered this forum while I was browsing the net, looking for ways to personalize my car. There's loads of inspiration to be had and super fun to look at all your photos.

My first project is going to be to do something about the all-black interior. A dash kit of some sort, with a custom paint job or something simpler like chrome accents. Only time will tell.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Had a feeling that bug owners would be friendly people.

Not sure how interesting pics of a car, straight out of the factory, will be but I'll take some anyway. It'll be fun later to have before and after shots.

I'm heading over to the styling section next. That's what got me to register in the first place.

Welcome to the Org! You'll have so much fun driving your new bug. Also, it doesn't hurt that the roads in Sweden are AMAZING. I have a cousin in Malmo, so I've visited a few times.

Thanks! Well, we also have amazing cameras and cops that catch us speeding so if you want a truly amazing drive I'd head on over to the Bug's birthplace in Germany.

My new Beetle was delivered on Friday as promiced, so I'll take some pics and post them as soon as I can.

And can I just mention how sweet it is to drive something that's brand new? I tripled the total miles it's been driven this week end with a simple hour-long drive. Bliss!
