Post 2000 New Beetle

I recently purchased a 2000 New Beetle with the 2.0L with a manual tranny as a commuter car to help save on the price of gasoline. Since purchasing the car, I've decided to make it more than just a commuter. It's now my every day driver. I purchased the car with only 42K Miles which is relatively low for a 2000 model. I am now a VW and New Beetle fan. This car handles like a dream.

Congrats! You'll love your car, they're the greatest, it took me three cars in between to realize that nothing else could beat a VW.

Something like that happened to me, too. Originally, my wife was to drive the Beetle and I get the Explorer (buying the Beetle was her idea).

So here I am doing the Org, socaleuro, socalnbc, car shows & cruising thing with our Beetle.... and the wife drives the Explorer.

And I'm the New Beetle nut

Enjoy your new car!!

congrats and welcome to the .org! we're happy to have you! you'll probably get more attached to the car than you thought possible.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.
