Hey all, I just wanted to drop by and say hello to everyone. This forum is much friendlier than other Volkswagen forums I've visited. [:

I've joined just in time to celebrate my 1yr Anniversary with my baby- Gina. She's amazing, and my first baby and my first Volkswagen. I've asked my family to get us some Long Beaches for my birthday/ Anniversary. I'll be sure to post pictures if we end up getting them! And although she isn't a 1.8T, I drive her like she is!! teehee...

welcome to the org! i haven't been here long either, but i really do like the people here. yeah, i know what you mean about the other vw forums, most aren't vw nb friendly at all. makes you wonder why they even have a forum, eh?

anyway, this forum is the place to be when you want to be around people that love their cars and care about other members. the org is loaded with all kinds of information, from technical to just shooting the bull.

make sure to post some pics of your beetle real soon!

I had to laugh at you saying you drove her like she's a 1.8T anyway.

We're just the opposite. We're so protective of PickleJuice that we drive her like she's made of tissue paper.

Ah, Gina [not the NB] you're too funny! HAHA...I guess you COULD have introduced Michael into German Engineering!? I should tell you the story of how I named 'Gina' huh? One of my favorite things to say used to be "DAAAMN GIIINA!" from that show 'Martin'. And after saying that a couple times while driving, it sort of stuck. Although [!!] Gina has an alter ego, when she's in "turbo-mode" we call her Sabine, after Sabine Schmidt. [if you don't know who she is, YouTube her!!!...you won't be disappointed]
