I'm tired of replacing my low beam bulbs every 90 days. I've disconnected the DRLs and still $40 every 3 months. Are HIDs worth it, and any recommendations on plug-n-play installations. Considering the electrical problems these cars have, I prefer plug-n-play. Also, how do you change the front turn signal bulb?

I've had OEM HID's for over 3 years now and never had to replace any bulbs anywhere on my vert. U must have a short somewhere.

Thanks for the info on the front turn signal bulb. It's what I thought, but I hate to assume. I have the plain H1 low beam bulbs, and according to other forums and the dealer, the burnout is quite common. I'm looking at a conversion kit to switch to xenons, which, from what I understand, do not burn out like the H1s.

I think u still have a problem, I've had 3 NB's since '99 and never had headlight bulbs replaced.
BTW, I've been hearing that NB owners are not happy with the lighting characteristics of aftermarket HID kits, that the OEM's, which u can get, are much brighter and self leveling. A lot of owners just went to hotter/brighter H-1 bulbs. Click my sig in my first post to see wut the HID's and bumper intergrated washers look like. |
