hello to all, this past saturday,me and my wife bought a 2001nb sport turbo,reflux silver,5-speed.blk leather,and i believe fully optioned,i think . please excuse but its only my second time on this site,so i have many questions, the motor says 2.0 turbo is this right? or is it a1.8t? and why doesnt it say turbo on the hatchback? i never dreamed of owning this car,we were looking at a passat, but fell in love after driving this one, i have no camera yet, but hopefully soon. many thanks to everyones help, and what a great site of everyones awesome cars thanks.....

Hi and welcome!! There are two engine covers for the turbo. You have the one that says 20v turbo. 20 valves = 5 per cylinder. Do you have a flap on the upper part of the glass on your hatchback? Only turbo's have that. The chrome turbo badges are after market. Any other questions? And hurry up with the pictures

i went out to the car,there is a blk flap between the hatchback and roof is that what your talking aboat???? also whats the diffrence between a gls and glx?? thank you so much ...

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. For the 2001 it won't raise until 91 mph or earlier if you push the button. I prefer one over the other, can you guess which one?
I can't tell you what the dif is between GLS & GLX. Someone else here might though.

Under the steering wheel, on the bottom half of the dash kind of near your feet, feel for a rocker switch.
