New(to me) 2001 Beetle!
Hey Everyone,
I am so excited! My husband surprised me last week with a beautiful blue Beetle (I mean soft Vortex Blue). My husband wants me to make sure I let everyone know it is the 1.8Turbo. We had talked about getting a new car but I thought we were going to wait awhile. We saw this Beetle on the internet and I feel in love with the color.  Not only did he surprise me with the car, he also went to Michael's craftstore for a matching flower (ladies, you know how rare that is!) Well, I thought I would share the good news. Looking forward to finding out more about my Beetle.

That's a sweet car, looking forward to more pictures  But I must ask...did you by any chance do a CarFax report on it? I was curious because it's missing it's foglights.. hoping it wasn't in an accident. :/ Anyway.. welcome!

How fun!! I love the blue new beetle.
My spouse, Judy saw an 03 NB Convertible, Mellow Yellow and somehow manuvered me to get it. My spouse is 5'2" so we always had to try cars out for her. we went to Chevy for a pre-loved (as VW certified cars are called) car for me. We saw a 03 NBC next door at the same dealership so we asked for a test drive. After 1/2 hr drive, the New Beetle NBC was the choice. We had $2000 cash from a car we sold and we drove home in the NBC (after some negotiation with our credit union). It wasn't until later when I found out that she had asked the sales guy that she liked the NBC.
