Default Hello from Virginia!

I'm new here and i'm looking to purchase a used beetle within the next 6 months. Can anyone give me some advice and what to look out for?

I really this one but the mileage concerns me.

Welcome aboard!

No easy answer here. But if your concerned about the mileage, might be best to look for a lower mileage bug, so you won't worry as much. Wish i had a better answer.

given the mileage, i'd want to see the service records on that NB...IF it was well-maintained, i'd consider it.

if you decide to buy this bug, definitely make sure the previous owner replaced the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner...otherwise, insist the seller replace them before you buy.

you said you're thinking of buying within the next six months...i'd check out the various forums here at newbeetle.org...a wealth of knowledge contained in the different sections, and folks here will help you out if you have questions...oh, and i'd also check out the norfolk craigslist.

welcome to the .org!
