I have dreamed about having a NB since 1998 when they were released. I ended up getting a Ford Escort as my first car when I was 18 and it served me well, but my parents just surprised me with my dream car on the 14th as a graduation from college present.

I present:

Blu, my 1998 VW with 42,000 miles!

One owner car, and old people at that. They upgraded the sound system and wheels before selling. We got a great deal. More pics and such to follow.

I made a blog for Blu. It's at:

And it may not be a real Bug per se, but it always will be to me.

My dad also owns a '72 VW Bus, a camper Westfalia, and has owned scores of Bugs and Beetles in the past. This is the first watercooled VW in the family, though. We'd love to get a Bug someday in the future as well.
