Smile Test Drove the NB today!

Okay, so I've been looking into to getting a smaller vehicle for myself for the past several weeks, since I figured out that I don't need an S.U.V. just for myself. In the past couple of weeks I have test driven 2 Mini Cooper's, a Pontiac
G5 (Colbalt) and a Dodge Neon SRT-4, and today, I test drove a 2007 NB for the first time, and fell in love with it!! I didn't think these cute little cars were so comfy and roomie inside, and so easy to handle. I have been looking for the perfect fit, and I think this is gonna be it! It still might be a little bit before I can get one, but I'm on the hunt! Hope to become part of the BUG family soon!

Welcome!

I hope you get a NB

Now, here's a thought. By your nickname ( cute nickname! ) I assume you like Pink?

And.. just so you know... last year, there were 13 limited edition Barbie beetles made.
You could contact VW and see if any are available.

The price? $24,000

Also, if you look on eBay from time to time you'll find Pink (peach) colored Beetles in hard tops and convertibles. Some are light colored, some are Mary-K pink.

I did an autotrader search (www.autotrader.com) ... and found one peach colored 2005 convertible in Georgia with 24,000 miles on it.

That's where I've been lookin', just haven't found the one for me yet. But! My dealership, where I got the car I have now, is going to put my current car on consignment, and is in the process of searching for my perfect bug. Gave them all the specifications I want in a bug, so now I just have to be patient until they find what I'm looking for!

Default Beware test drives!

I remember when I told my husband that I wanted to test drive the New Beetle. I loved the ones from the 60's, but I wanted to see if it was still "love" or "lust." Well, we went for that test drive. About a month later, "Stella" caught my heart and became a part of the family. By the way, my husband's Jeep is now living in the driveway, and Stella has the premier spot in the garage--as it should be! And it all started with one innocent, little test drive.

I know what you mean, by the "innocent" test drive! It got me hooked, now all I can think aboout is climbing back into a bug! Patience, I must have patience!!
