Default Hello New Member

Hi, Im Joe from Rochester NY.
I have been making biodiesel in my garage for a few years.
People keep stealing my oil so for now I am stopping.

Here is some pics of my vehicle and my setup:

1999 VW Beetle TDI.

No real mods. I am looking for some Vag-Com mods I can do that will be fun. I searched but didnt find any comprehensive list of what you can do with it.

Sofar the Vag-Com has saved me probably thousands of dollars in just hookups alone. I love it. Being I am a computer geek its cool to interface with your car this way.

Nice site, I have already found some great how-to's here.

Thanks,

Joe

Sounds pretty niffty.

If you fnid some great vag-com info share away; I haven't used mine for much; mostly just coding some changes on Mk5 vw's; and checking/clearing my codes.

Default Thank you for the welcome!

Thank you all for the very nice welcome. I do belong to freds TDI. I go by same nick there.

The mods I have done are minor. Some new silverstar bulbs for the headlights. New rims and tires. I have my winter tires on the rims with the hubcaps. My summer ones are on new rims.

I have fixed several fault codes including the Relay 109 error, glow plug circuit, and bunch more. The previous owner was supposedly an old lady, I have heard this before.

Either way she had some bozo work on her beetle for her. I have fixed at least 3 problems relating to superglue/duct tape repair jobs. Luckily I have a Vag-Com.

Thanks again!
