Hey everyone. My name is Justin. I don't have a Beetle yet. I've been pining over a yellow Beetle since 1998. I was 15 then so I've been patient so far but I want one before the current design gets discontinued. The current model is "perfect" in my mind and cant be improved so I have to cave in soon. Well, just sayin hi.

Hello and welcome! Good luck on acquiring a Beetle! Shouldn't be too hard.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Well, I just went to a dealership (non vw) a couple miles away and they had a 99 Gecko green GLS auto with 93,000 miles for $5800. The book value is $7300. Is this a good year for not having problems? Should I be worried that the price is too low?

I would try to get at least a 2000, from what I've heard most of the bugs were worked out by then. No pun intended

And besides, you want a manual

that 99 cyber green isnt the best deal in the world, but its a good deal if all the services are up to date (including a new timing belt and water pump).
