Default Hello, fuel filter change question here.

Hi, I am changing the fuel filter on my gf's 2000 Beetle GL. I know where it is, but I need to know either how to bleed the pressurized fuel line, or which fuse operates the fuel pump so I could pull it and start the car briefly, thus decompressing the line. Could someone help with some simple directions.
Also if there are any tricks to those connectors on the lines at the filter I would appreciate those too.

A long time air cooled owner working on a new Beetle,
Thanks
Don

you didnt search enough or you missed it. i linked it here just this morning.
Fuel Filter location

you start the car, pull the fuse and let it stall, than you open the gas cap to let the pressure out. it's that simple and it's all in here or the Vortex links in my post. The same info is also in a Bentley or Haynes repair manual. The Haynes for sure, as i have it and have read it.

Thanks, I guess my edit did not take on that second thread. I found that link and changed the filter, but it did not fix the chugging rough idle that is my problem. Changed the plugs and wires too.
