A lurker emerges!
Signed up some time ago when I bought my wife a Black 2000 NB but never got around to posting!
The NB has since become my car as we now have a 2 month old daughter and the bug isn't terribly practical for baby transportation =] I can hardly complain though as its a great lil car. Just wanted to say that this forum contains a wealth of great info regarding all kinds of stuff, and thank those that have provided said information. It has inspired me to start doing some work on my NB finally! First step is replacing the headunit and speakers - already done the headunit, so onto the speakers now but cannot find anywhere in Aus to get hold of the speaker adaptors for the front doors =[ Anyway just wanted to say G'day and nice to be part of this great community  PS - Pic's will be on the way once I have given the ol girl a wash.

Funny how you ended up with your beetle. Before I bought my beetle it was my sisters then it was her husbands after they had children. Must sort of be a common occurence.
