Hi.
A new member here. Just bought a 99 New Beetle which runs well but the engine when coasting/foot off the gas seems very loud as though something is not turning freely. Could this be the start of a transmission problem or is this just the way New Beetle's sound? Can anyone recommend a good VW mechanic in the NYC area that might take a listen. I am planning a long trip cross country and want to make sure everything is OK. |
