Newbie with my 06 Aquarius Blue NBC

[Smurfy Soupergirl]

Hi All--

I just got my 06 Aquarius blue NBC, "Smurfette", this past Monday--it was a total fluke. I've been drooling over them for a while and we happened to drive past one for sale at the dealer right next to where my 04 Malibu was being fixed for the millionth time. I finally decided, lets do it! I traded in the Boo for my fabulous new Beetle!

Initially, i thought it would never ever EVER work for me. I'm a BIG girl and have tried a lot of cars out only to find that just because a car is big on the outside doesn't mean it's big on the inside! Since sales were slow at the dealership and my hubby knew I wanted to try the Beetle, they actually let him borrow it for the day and he showed up in the driveway with it...as soon as I sat in it, i knew she had to be mine! It was HUGE inside. It's like she was made for me! We went back to the dealer, did the wheeling and dealing, signed the papers and, just as I was about to drive off the lot with my new convertible, it began to SNOW! Irony, i know.

I digress...Glad to find the site and forums---I've already learned so much from ya'll! I'll be sure to post plenty of photos of my Smurfette as I doll her up (got some eyelashes and a european front plate on the way as well as her birth certificate!)

Hi and welcome It was meant to be. She was calling you and you heard her It snowed the day after I picked mine too . They deal with it great, much better than your malibu.
