Great site and a lot of cool beetle fans. I have a 2002 Turbo S, I have owned it for couple of years now, I have done a couple of cosmetic mods and tail pipe upgrade. Look forward shearing the you feedback and ideas.

Here are a few tips.

1. Do not wash or dry under direct sunlight, if no option make sure you dry up with a chami immediatelly.

2. Do the tires wheels first with watter and regular dish washer soap. Then use fresh water and a quality carwash soap with soft mit ar sponge to clean the rest of the body. I use an old toothbrush the get into those hard to reach area of the wheels.

3. I mixed two products when waxing. #1.Color Magic from Turtle wax, which comes in different colors and helps to cover imperfections on the paint, also comens with a colorstick very similar to a lipstick for deeper stone chips or scratches. #2 Gold Class from Meguires to give it a nice gloss. There is no real measurement that I use when I am mixing the two waxes, but since my car is black I make sure that the wax is nice and dark when I apply it to the car.

3. For the tires I apply liquid crystal to a sopnge the rub the tires. Every now and then I remove the wheels to clean the inside and the wheelwells, just something that I used to do when helping my cousin when taking his car for auto shows and kind of stayed with me.

where did you get the eyelids?
