2003 VW new beetle turbo..

hey guys!
well to start out i have a 2003 vw new beetle turbo. its red and is absolutely wonderful has the sunroof and heated leather seats which is great for the cold michigan winters..
i got an excellent deal on it. when i bought it a year ago it had 33,000 miles on it now it has almost 60,000.
i do have a question though.
my little fog lights are out, and i only have one bright light when i flick my brights on however both my running lights and dims work just fine...
how do i change both of these, and should i go to a mechanic so i don't mess it up myself?
oh yeah, and what kind of headlights does my car take.

Your high, low and fog lights all use H1 55W halogen bulbs.
You should be able to reach underneath the front facia and get to the fog lights. Just twist the connector to the left to remove the bulb and replace it. It's a tight fit, but you should be able to reach both sides without too much trouble.
The headlight will have to be removed in order to change out the bulb.

P.S. there is a "how to" for fog lights as well, but it's easier to do the bulbs without removing the lights themselves.
