i'm in Wheeling, and a native of the Charleston area.
the Corvair engine was a freebie after some trading around. a Porsche flat 6 would probably cost more to redo the 6 carbs than this whole engine. Tore down only to find just one broken ring, probably carelessness from when it was rebuilt.
