I named my beetle "Lil Mama" First song I ever listened to in my car when I purchased it was by lil mama, and was cute and about a car. So the name stuck and I love it lol. Beetle's are adorable. I love mine!!

I like it, but it's just like every other modern VW i've worked on. Cluttered, hard to work on, and lots of things to make me bleed.

ah, the joys of the mk4 chassis. i literally ripped the window switch and handle right off today in the sedan. what a cheap design, i'm making a replacement of REAL metal.

i actually name all my cars, my beetles were named:

stormy: white/black 01.5 1.8ts
jenna: green 05 tdi
phoenix: snap orange 02 1.8t
caroline: vortex 01.5 1.8t

my jettas are named:

theresa jane (janie or tj for short): white 00 2.0 sedan
sprite: cosmic green 01.5 2.5t wagon

i usually figure out a car's name almost immediately, it's just one of those things i can do.

janie got her name from the aerosmith song "janie's got a gun", because well, janie does have a gun...right under the seat. with my night job and commute, i need it.

sprite came about because my buddy swore the green looked like an old sprite can green, so i guess it stuck.

phoenix because it's orange and the phoenix suns are orange, that car was hot.

caroline because vortex blue is similar to carolina blue and on the ride home, "sweet caroline" came on the radio.

stormy because apparently a white beetle with black ts bumpers and fenders looks like a stormtrooper head at night.

My Beetle's name is Bluebonnet, State flower of Texas. She has a Bluebonnet liscense plate also.
