Default Climate Control does not illuminate...

On my way home tonite with my new (used) glx turbo, I noticed the climate control does not light up. Is this a bulb issue or possibly a fuse issue?

My '99 doesn't light up, either. We had chalked it up to poor design and were hoping they had fixed it in later models.

Does anyone know if my '99 climate control knobs should light up and I'm just too stupid to figure out how? I'd be really happy if it would!

My 01 lights are starting to sputter. Once in a while they go out but then come back on.

My a/c vents backlighting went out last week, all others work ok, is it a simple fuse issue?

Great, that solves the heater/ac knob lighting problem, mine is the lighting behinds the vents themselves, any ideas?

The a/c vents; there's an image of a person sitting in the seat for open and then one of just a dot (I think) for closed...
