Hi Folks, thanks for allowing me to ask this question. My wife and I own a 2003 T/S Beetle. We are missing the rear plate that
is opposite the rear exhaust. I went to price it at one of the
local dealers and they wanted nearly 200.00 bucks for a stupid
piece of plastic. Any suggestions? Where can I find a reasonable solution.

Thanks ahead,
TVW2003

You are missing the infamous tow hook cover. I think only one of us Turbo S, or former Turbo S owners have managed to keep them attached.

Don't sweat it, and don't pay that ridiculous price for a replacement. Maybe, check with your states highway department, and ask them to check in their "Found Misc. Auto Parts" bin.

Welcome to the Org! And, tell us about your TS!

Welcome to the Org! Would love to see some pictures of your TS.

Not sure about a "rear plate" that may be missing. If there is supposed to be a flat cover "plate" over the towhook I'm missing mine too. If you are talking about a towhook cover, might check with TVA and see if this one will fit....
