My daughter has a 2005 beetle convertible turbo that the rear deck lid will not open. Here is what happened, on first day of school she was hit in rear in school parking lot and only damage was the bumper cover had a scratch. she can hear the motor make a noise when she pushes the button on her fob and pushes switch in car but cant raise rear deck lid. She has told me she has a emergency latch in trunk but the cable is broke or unhooked and cannot be opened that way either. The other problem is that she has a speaker box sitting in the trunk and cant move it very far out of the way. I am trying to find any information I can for her. She lives in a distant state and I have no way to look at it myself
, but can relay what I am told to her. Please help. Thanks, Thomas |
