Default Tonyabug vinyl additions for your bug?

Found Tonyabug on Itsy & am amazed at her beautiful vinyl additions for dressing up bugs. I know you "guys" on here probably winch at the idea of "girling" up my ride but that's what I wanted her for in the first place - she's mine, not my hubbies. Anyhoo, I'm wondering if any one on here has had an experience with these & would be willing to share their experience such as, ease of installation, how they've held up, etc. My baby is a vert so she'll never be going through a car wash but I am wondering about waxing her with the decals on and if that's an issue. Please let me know your experiences, good or bad please... and thanks!

Hi Ladybug57,
I have a 2004 convertible, but no stickers etc. However, I do think the eyelids look cool on the convertibles and am thinking of adding them myself. Have you thought about these? I'm not keen on the eyelashes though, but each to their own.

Oh Sorry, just saw the details I can be a bit thick at times!!!, Harvest moon Yummy. My first convertible was harvest moon and my she was a looker! had to sell her when I fell pregnant, and just got myself a Aquarius Blue convertible. I do agree vinyl will look good on your harvest moon as I remember the brochure had harvest moon with stickers and she looked well smart!!! what ones you going for?
What colour interior you got? I had cream material and it was dirty in a week after my daughter spilt her drink on the seat!!! But I now have black leather, so should be ok

I purchased the emblem inserts in purple from Tonyabug. Havent had any issues at all. They install fast & easy & dont appear to have faded at all (put them on 2 years ago).

I would think waxing wouldn't really be an issue except to just be aware of wax around the edges. Make sure you clean up around them well or you will look like you have white outlines.

I too have some decals on my car, and have some on the paint. I have had the HK wording on her doors for over a year, and they have not faded or chipped, and I still continue to wash and wax her as usual (but only hand washes at home). I actually have 3D eyelashes for her, but I am only putting those on for city driving and car shows
Make the car your own! That is the beauty of owning your own car! I have definitely turned mine into a girly car

It is the bug flower garden I am considering. I am trying to decide between the two sides or the front & back... I think it would be too much to do it all. Also trying to decide on flower colors. So many choices )

I have flower power flowers on my harvest moon vert. She has the peace sign tail light covers, Eyelashes, I bought red door edging and put it partly around the hood, kinda like lipstick. I found some cute scrap booking beetle stickers and put those on the inside doors, and pink tire valve caps. I also bought the floor mates with the crazy looking lady bugs. it is a girlie car, but I must say, I get a lot of compliments on it. I love driving her. I am looking into buying a license frame plate for the front and the back, haven't decided what I want there yet.

My first auto was a 57 vw, flowers all over her also, I am an old hippy. So reliving my youth. I have not had any problems with the stickers, and I have washed and waxed her to shine like new. Oh, I also got the windows tinted.

I am a fan of the stickers and magnets. I don't have any stickers yet but I do have a great magnet over the VW symbol on the back of my NB. It's a flower magnet, really cute. Got it on Etsy from Bling My Bug. Love having all the girlie stuff! It's funny all the men that tell me how "cute" my NB is with my flowers and peace sign! Hubbie doesn't want to drive it either so that's a plus lol. I save on gas and he can drive his big old diesel pickup!

Vinyl is easy enough to install/apply if you take your time and be sure to work out air bubbles as you go. Wash and wax is fine as well just be careful what direction you rub in especially on sharp points (go with the vinyl to stick it back down rather than peel it up). Lady's vinyl has been on for almost 2 years now)
