Default 2003 Conv. auto 2.0 tranny (GGZ)

Does anyone know where to get a rebuilt or used transmission at a reasonable cost?
My car has 78k miles and the transmission has had a jerky ending.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'd get a price for having it done locally at a tranny shop. Don't laugh, try Aamco (I have had nothing but excellent experiences with three different ones in three different cities), it may not even need a complete rebuild. You can pay only for what is needed, knowing going in the worst case scenario, and you can pay for different levels of warranty to suit your needs and budget. This wayTheir is an '05 rebuilt a fellow Orger is advertising on here right now and the asking price is $3k shipped.

Or buy a used one off eBay, with what, maybe a 30 day warranty not including the shipping both ways, or the labor. Not the same as buying a crate motor from a reputable reseller or the factory. Not a believer in used trannies.
