Battery change now no start
Changed battery in my 2003 beetle. Now will not start, engine cranks fine but will not fire. Blew fuse out on radio during this change, windows do not work, sunroof or hatch wont open, power locks do not work . Fuse #14 and #37 blew out and now have dead short in them. Everything worked fine before I changed the battery is like the car locked up on me. Help.

How did you change the battery that you blew fuses? What did you short out? And how? You apparently shorted out something that may now have damaged other components. A little more info, please. Somethings do have to possibly be reset when a battery is changed, but not fuses blowing isn't normal.
