New member with 09 New Beetle
Just found this site yesterday while looking for info on my New Beetle. New to these new type beetles. Owned many early beetles and worked on them in the early 70s but not since then. Picked up this 09 a couple months ago and found this site looking for info on changing the oil.

Ahhh, the power of the org drew you in eh??? Welcome to the family
I have a 2000 nB GLS. Now I believe your '09 has the oil canister, with changeable inner filter. I'm sure you'll find your answer in the technical section of the forums. Also, the advance search section is a good friend of ours and a big help Hope to see many pics of your beetle, as well as you frequenting the forums. Not only is this a place for good tech info, but a great way to hook up with fellow beetle peeps. I've made a ton of friends here, many I've met at a GtG here or there. I hope you get the pleasure of meeting some of these fine folk too. Welcome B
