Talking Hi From South Carolina

Whats up everybody. I have been lurking around for a few days and already learned tons of stuff. I have a 2008 Red 2.5 Coupe. Got a couple of bugs to work out hit a 20 pound dog that went under and caused $4000 in damage, tranny still goin in limp mode and tap shift isn't working, but its getting there. This is my first experience working on a car other than a Chevy. Im still Chevy for life but its my fiance's car and its growing on me. Again thanks for all the info you guy put out. Glad to be a part of this forum

Welcome! Wow a 20 lb dog did that much damage?! I hope you get everything fixed soon. And yes...you may be a Chevy guy now but I predict that love for the Bug is gonna grow on you!

Again, welcome!

Yea it sucked went up under and cracked the bumper, Grille, ac condenser, oil filter housing(and where the housing screws in) i think it was an impulse sensor harness was mangled thats all i can remember at the moment. The dog looked like a Jack Russell mixed maybe couldn't have been more than 20-25
