well we picked up a black 98 beetle over the weekend. Nothing fancy... all stock for now... anyone in northern VA? Also any good junk yards or website to buy parts?

Hopefully i can do some fun things with the Beetle. It's a 2.0 5 speed. Hopefully i'll be searching and checking out all the DIY on the site.

Nice Car! None of those were made in the US. We don't get nearly as many choices of cars and engines as other places in the world. The only 3 engine choices back in the early 2000 era were the 1.8T, 2.0L base and the 1.9TDI. The 1.6 was never sold here in the US. What country are you from?
