I'm back...if I was ever really here...
So back in December I bought my 2006 Gecko Green new beetle, my DREAM car and met D-Nyed at the local service center. The next day someone sideswiped me in my baby and you would not BELIEVE what I've been through trying to get my baby fixed. The guy admitted fault to his insurance company, yet they denied my claim!!!!
 anywho...It should be getting fixed soon-ish if I can find the money, I'm moving to a new house so it might be a while longer but am SO eager to become an active member of this group and hopefully participate in some Beetle get-togethers. I'm tired of passing other beetles on the road and not getting waves, smiles, honks, or anything...I thought this was part of the fun of owning this car? Anways, just wanted to say HI!!!! and hope all is well with all my fellow beetle lovers!

OMG
I had no idea there was another Gecko Green Owner in Vancouver WA! I just bought mine, though in texas and NOT Dick Ripoff, i mean Hannah...Im sorry to hear your baby was wrecked. Insurance always has to give some issue on why they arent responsible for paying...stupid stupid stupid insurance. Nonetheless next time you are free, we should meet up sometime with dnyed and have some lunch...Ill let you drive my GG TDI on the way there if you like!
