Default Wanted: internal DVD burner for PC

Hi,

Besides craigslist, freecycle and ebay (never mind the brick and mortar places), does anyone have a working internal DVD burner for a PC collecting dust on a shelf, maybe?
The drive in my machine is slowly giving up the ghost

Ain't got much $ but I'm open to anything that would be nearer/lower than the 35/50 prices on ebay and in the stores around here.
(makes me miss having a J-O-B where the IT dept chucks old equipment)

No prob if you folks think I'm out of my mind asking this, the brain cells have been gone for a long time plus I still am waiting for the last vet bill, sigh.

Thanks
I'll delete this if it's inappropriate
