Well. I decided to do poor man repair and to cover up cancer consequences.
I did the following
- Stripped rust along with detaching stuff on top of the rocker till the area where the stuff is holding firm on the rocker
- Treated rust with rust converter
- Leveled slightly dent rocker with two-component bondo spot & glaze putty. I heard that single component bondo spot & glaze putty tends to crack way more and dries longer.
- Applied several layers of Dupli-Color filler primer.
It look okay so far.
I'm going to
- Put Stone Guard from NAPA/Martin Senour
- Paint it
I will let you know when it falls off
How to blend paint/clear coat to existing ones besides feathering edges?
