Default Part # help

I was wondering if someone could give me a part # or at least the name of this piece. It's the plastic piece with an electrical outlet that sits in front of the cupholders. I looked on 1stvwparts.com and couldn't find it.

hyakugojyuuichi,

not sure of the name or part number you're looking for, and the 1stvwparts.com online parts catalog frustrates the heck out of me...

i'd highly recommend giving them a call. ask for the internet parts manager.

don't remember his name, but i've found him very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient.

he's always recommended the right parts for my car.

since your car is a type 4 (rabbits are type 1)your number should start like this:#004-000-0000. and as with any vw product look on the back of the piece and see if you can find any numbers . if you do thats the parts #. just be care ful when you take it off.(good thoughts)A.J

As far as I can find, it's listed only as "cover" in the manual. It looks like it just snaps on, and can be pulled off. From there you might be able to find the number on it, like Bugger suggested.
