My Buggie was orginally silver and had some body damage so within a few days of purchase I went and had her fixed up and painted blue with shimmers in it. I was looking through the colors and my doesn't seem to be around. I picked my color from a VW oem colors but it was listed as Deep Blue. It was almost a year and half ago and the color was offered for several years. Maybe I was picking the color from VW in general, who knows.

they made 25 vortex blues in 2000 also so i think it should be there too since there are still some wondering around. and to VW its only called soft blue or soft vortex blue. minor but i thought id put my 2 cents in.

My wife scuffed the bumper the other day (Argh). I was wondering if someone had the paint code, or know where I could get it.

I believe you might find it on that sticker affixed to the body to the left of the spare tire...

melon yellow is not an official name for the paint. look at the beginning of this thread for paint codes, but like alan said, the best way to check is by the spare tire. i don't think 0000 is a paint code.

Same story here.... 2000 NB 1.8T with 0000 paint code. According to the chart it is Reflex Yellow. I'm guessing the 0000 has something to do with it being a limited edition color. Does anyone have/know where to find out how many of this color were produced? I'm interested in the # because I had never seen this color till I saw my car, yet there are now at least 3 of this color in this post thread alone.

Thans for any info that anyone can provide!

They have a pink limited edition pink.It was made in 07 and its the barbie edition made in Mexico and only 13 models were made. I wish i had it!

I believe all limited editions were limited to 2000 cars. Except for the flint with red interior, I think that was a lower number, (not sure though).

Well I may have of missed it but I dont think you have the paint colors on your chart for the Turbo S models years 2002 and 2003? reflux silver and the darker color tan ?
