Default Antenna Rubber

OK guys...I need a little help here. The other day, I noticed that the rubber seal that is at the bottom of the antenna mast on my '01 Beetle is gone. This is the little outer covering on the antenna mast, that meets the paint. Any ideas on where I can get a new one ??

Thanks,
Brandon

Best bet is to buy the whole antenna, I have seen them on ebay for a decent price. The base is usually discolored and on the way to dry rot also, I know mine is and I will replace the whole thing, labor is the same and too long involved not to.

I went to the VW dealer and bought the assembly, don't remember how much but it was cheap. Easy to change just remove the plastic mouldings holding up the back of the headliner, don't pull to hard as the plastic mounting clips will break or bend. Once you get the back of the headliner down, it is I think a 22mm wrench to get the nut off. Use a little dielectric grease and put it back on. It is easy.
