Default Parts interchangable between years?

Hi All!
I am new here and I will be picking up my '99 GLS NB this week! The car is mecahnically excellent, but the interior and exterior could use some love.

Question: Are NB parts interchangable between a '99 and other years? Specifically the interior door panels, bumpers, air vents, etc.... Are there major exceptions?

Thanks in advance!!

Most parts will swap right over. some things changed over the years, like airbag connections, front cupholders, armrests, jumbo-box. the bumpers are the same thru 98-05 except for the turbo s. and the foglights mount differntly in 98-01's than 01-05. that's prolly the biggest things for trim. oh yeah, the side mirrors change thru the years too

Great! Thanks for the 411.
Looks like it will be much easier than I thought to find the parts and refresh the car myself.

Will post pics when I get it home

ya, it's pretty easy. i had 03 seats, and an 02 front fog light grill on my 99. all it needed special was 02 style fog lights (mine were broken anyway) and some wire splicing on the seats to swap the airbag connector since the actual wiring are the same, just the plug is differnt.
